A little test to get re-introduced with mental ray and it's wonderfully intuitive and not-at-all intimidating shader/render settings. ;)

Here I'll be posting some examples of the work that I'm doing as a contract artist with Dart Frog Creative. The tools I'm using for this are; Autodesk Maya, Photoshop and GLC_Player.
Dorothea Lange Project WIP
This is a personal project I've been working on here and there. I'm recreating the objects in this photograph taken by Dorothea Lange. I'm using Maya, zBrush, Photoshop, nDo and xNormal to create these assets. Final renders to be done in UDK and Unity.
*Update, 7/11. Models with current textures applied. Lots of work left to do. :)

The Green Bastard
The Green Bastard was my first go at zBrush and my first attempt at transferring normal maps for a high res sculpt to a low res model. The idea was to go from concept to completion using Photoshop for my concept, zBrush for the high res sculpt and Maya for my low res mesh and normal map transfer.
